Scott is a 36-year-old native of Cleveland, OH and has been involved in professional Catholic youth and family ministry for almost 15 years. He is in his 13th year at his current position as the Director of Youth & Young Adult Ministries at St. Joseph Parish in York, PA. He holds a BA in History from New Mexico State University and attended Franciscan University of Steubenville for two years. Despite never having worked for a school, he has been a three-year honoree of the Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers Award. He envisioned and developed the Fan the Fire Youth Rallies: Eucharistic-centered events for high school students that draw upwards of 500-800 people annually in York and Philadelphia, PA and Newtown, CT. He speaks at the parish, diocesan and national level to both teens and adults. Scott has been married for 14 years to his beautiful bride Teresa and they have six children: Mary Kate, Cecilia, John Paul, Max, Rose and Benedict.

 

Scott has all of the necessary background checks completed that are required by the Diocese of Harrisburg (PA) as a condition for working with youth. Copies of these forms can be produced if required for him to speak in your diocese.
